Brian Mears joined The Lambert Firm in 2017 and primarily focuses his legal practice on maritime personal injury actions.
Brian is originally from Houma, Louisiana and moved to New Orleans to attend Tulane University in 1999. Brian graduated Tulane University in 2003 and spent several years working in the Tulane University Athletic Department with the men’s and women’s basketball staffs. During that time, Brian received his Master of Business Administration in 2008. In 2011, Brian enrolled at Tulane Law School and in 2014 he received his Juris Doctor with a certificate in Sports Law. During law school, Brian interned with Octagon, Inc., one of the world’s largest sports agencies, and with the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs. After graduating from law school, Brian clerked for the Honorable Judge Christopher Bruno of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans.
Brian is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Brian is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers, and the Federal Bar Association.
